and front Halibrand Cobra 15" x 7 1/2" rim and Goodyear Eagle GT II 235/60R15 tire:
Notice no lug nuts and polished magnesium is a slightly different color than aluminum, a little more brass or rich looking. Width of system: 68.25" including 11" wide tire tread prior to wheel alignment (calculation was 68.25") Should clear 70.5" wide fender ok. Fast forward to July 19, 2003 Battleground, WA
The Magnesium does polished up nicely! Dec 2004 Order a pair of Trigo's for the rear and snagged a pair of Mickey Thompson ET Street, size 26x11.5-15LT
Ran 100 miles on the street. Will use the Goodyear GT II regular on the street. These will be for PIR "street drags". The Goodyear Eagle GT II fit great with the IRS because of the 4" rim backspace is deep enough to keep the fat tire away from the fenders and still have low ride height.
The gold spinners replicate CSX 3002, the first 427 Cobra:
Spare Trigo's arrive 4/3/07: "Radiant"
Mounted on rear:
Fronts installed:
Side view:
The "radiant" rims were installed on the street tires:
NOTE WEIGHT: 62 lbs The Goodyear BIG LETTER tires were installed on the magnesium rims:
Note Weight: 42 lbs Difference: 20 lbs per rear corner!!
